Her coach can see her development. Another parent can't.

Who can see what about a player, what you control, and what happens when she leaves a team. When the product changes, this page changes first.

The player
Her own login, 13 and older
Her own brief, development, trophy case and lineup reveal, plus what any family on the team sees.
Another player's development or private details. Adults' contact details. She can message privately only her own coaches and parents.
Fans
Grandparents and friends who follow the team
The schedule, live scores, game recaps and the season yearbook once the coach shares it, with players named the way the coach publishes them: first names only unless the coach shows last names. Photos only if the coach publishes them, and the live stream and its replay only if the coach turns that on.
Lineups, team messages, comments, development, the roster's details or anyone's contact details.
The league
Board members and league administrators
Whether requirements are complete. Board members can look up a family's contact details when they need to, and every lookup is logged. League administrators can open a team in their league the way its coaches see it, to run the league.
Any team outside their league. Board members don't see stats or development.
The public
No account
Nothing about a player unless someone shares it: a public team page (record, results, game story headlines) if the coach turns one on, a link to one game's recap or live score, a season yearbook the coach makes public (players named as on a recap link, never a family that opted out), or a player page her parent publishes for her (her profile, stats, awards and the media her parent picks, never contact details or her schedule).
Photos, contact details, development, or anything not on that page or link.
Game results are shared with the team, so families see each other's batting lines. Development (assessments, goals, attendance and the coach's notes) stays with her coaches and family.
PHOTOS & GAME RECAPS
Where they appear, and who can look.

Her coaches and families add the photos. The team's library is for the team, fans see photos only if the coach publishes them, and a shared game link never includes one.

A coach can share one game's recap as a link that anyone can read. If you'd rather she weren't named on shared links, tell us and she'll appear as her number. To take a photo down, ask whoever posted it or report it from the photo's menu.

WHEN SHE LEAVES A TEAM
What's kept, who keeps access, what's yours.
KEPT
Her stats, Game Balls and milestones stay part of the team's season record. A first hit doesn't expire.
ACCESS
Her coaches see her record for as long as she's on their roster. When she moves on, the coach marks her inactive or takes her off it.
YOURS
Ask and we'll send you a copy of her information. Delete your account and your login, private messages and notifications go at once; her team record stays with the team unless you ask us to remove it.
COACHES & BACKGROUND CHECKS
How clearance records are handled.

BasesCovered doesn't run background checks. A coach uploads the completion certificate, not the report, and only the uploader can open it. The league sees a status (done, due or missing), and other coaches and families see nothing.

ACE, THE AI ASSISTANT
What it sees, and what it can't do alone.

When a coach asks Ace for a practice plan, a lineup or a game story, the team information it needs is sent to our AI provider to write it.

Ace only works on the team the coach has open, shows a preview of anything it would change, and does nothing until the coach confirms. Game stories name players for what went right, never a strikeout or a hard day.

A coach or parent can also connect an AI app of their own, like Claude or ChatGPT. It sees only what they can already see, changes nothing until they've seen the change and said yes, and is disconnected in Settings with one tap. How it works.
